An Interesting Tool for Twitter- IS Parade

IS Parade is an interesting tool for Twitter made in Japan. It changed the Twitter's traditional way of view, which was instead of parading way to view. The campagin was prepared for promoting Sharp mobile, and got the high awareness from young people. The innovative way of viewing exactly fits the atmosphere in Twitter, which everyone is free to give opinion and communicate with others. It more lively shows the spirit of Twitter.

Usually people utilizes Twitter to spread information, this campagin used Twitter in a very different way. What do you think?

Everyone could try IS Parade~ enjoy~

Really impressive! Japan seems to be quiet innovative in using social media tools, like Uniqlo using twitter for line up check in for example (theone you wrote before) really innovative stuff!

Hi Peggy - I like this example, you are right it fits the 'mood' of Twitter well. I wonder if this sort of thing would work for a protest demonstration.....people like to express social issues that are important to them via social media (the live animal trade is a good example) so this might work for an online version of a protest rally!

I like all the creative SM uses we have seen so far this semester. The numbers here are amazing. Would be quite interesting to see what happened with sales during the running of the campaign.

What a lot of fun this site is! Try using a brand as the keyword that generates a lot of WoM. Nice.
